Home Show
I will be hosting my annual holiday sale November 15th from 12-7pm. Come see my latest work, hang out, and enjoy some refreshments. I hope to see you there!
BDAC Holiday Boutique
The Bountiful Davis Art center hosts a holiday sale every November and this year I have been invited to include some pieces in the show. The opening gala will be Friday the 21st at 7pm. The BDAC is located at 745 South Main Street in Bountiful, UT.
Sandy Art Show
The Sandy Senior Center is having their annual art show this year November 12 through 15. There will be fine art in clay, sculpture, watercolor, acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings. The senior center is located at 9310 S. 1300 E. in Sandy, Utah.
Clay Arts Utah Holiday Show
Local clay artists will be selling amazing pottery, dinnerware, sculpture and gifts. This sale runs November 28th and 29th and will be open from 10am to 5pm at the Sugarhouse Garden Center (located at 1602 East 200 South in SLC).
Tea Party
This is an international teapot invitational show with clay artists of all styles, functional and non-functional. The show is located in Steamboat Springs, CO at 1001 13th Street (on the Yampa River at the west end of town). Tea Party runs Dec 1 to February 2nd.
November 3-D Art Workshops
I’m offering several short two-week workshops this November, both for children and adults. The classes, along with dates and times are listed below:
Sculpting with Polymer Clay
Ages: 7-11
Dates: Wednesday 12th and 19th
Time: 3:45-5
Polymer clay is a plastic-based clay. Learn techniques for working with polymer clay and do two sculpture projects.
Holiday Ornaments
Ages: 5-8
Dates: Tuesday 18th and 25th
Time: 3:45-5
Mold, shape, decorate, and paint ornaments with cinnamon modeling dough.
Mask Making
Ages: 7-11
Dates:Thursday 6th and 13th
Time: 3:45-5
Create a one-of-a-kind mask with paper mache, fiber, and glass beads. Collage, paint, and decorate it, too.
Functional Pottery
Ages: 12 and up (adults welcome)
Dates: Thursday 6th and 13th
Time: 7-9 pm
Hand-build and glaze a cup and saucer set (like the one pictured above). These dishes, when finished will be safe for food, dishwasher, and microwave use.
